1. Maxwell Ryan, CEO & FOUNDER

Maxwell left teaching in the year 2001 to start Apartment Therapy as a design business just to help people in making their homes more beautiful, well organized, and healthy. However, the website started up in the year 2004 with the help of his brother, whose name is Oliver. Now a day he lives with his daughter in a lovely apartment in Brooklyn.

2. Faith Durand, the best editor-in-chief

Faith is the great Editor-in-Chief of our site, which she has led and also scaled in the stable growth of the site. Moreover, she is the founding editor of Cubby, Apartment Therapy Media’s popular brand for families at the home. However, she is also the author of three best cookbooks, including the James Beard Award-winning “The Kitchn Cookbook,” co-authored with Sara Kate Gillingham.

In addition to food, she is passionate about renewal and gardening, and she lives with her husband and two small cute daughters in an old home in Columbus, Ohio, that lets her indulge in both.

3. Riva Syrop, the president of the site

Riva Syrop spent more than twenty years leading revenue and marketing strategy for different digital brands including Earth web, Wired, DailyCandy, and Refinery29.
