How to store cornbread:
- To store cornbread you have to cover cornbread with the best plastic wrap or foil to prevent it from drying out.
- Furthermore properly stored cornbread will last for almost two days even at room temperature.

Ingredients of jiffy cornbread cake:
- One cup of all-purpose flour
- One cup of cornmeal
- One cup of sugar and two tbsp. salt
- One tbsp. baking powder
- Three eggs and one cup of milk
- Two tbsp. of sour cream
- Eight tbsp. unsalted butter
- Two tbsp. vegetable oil
Method of Sweet Cornbread Cake:
Step #1
Firstly preheat your oven to 350 F. and then, melt seven tablespoons of butter. Once your oven has heated up, then put the remaining one tablespoon of un-melted butter into a common skillet and place it into the oven.

After that, add all your dry ingredients into a large size bowl. Then mix very well until combined than just make a well in the center of the bowl.

Now you’ve to pour all the ingredients except the melted butter and vegetable oil into this well along with a whisk, whisk until fully smooth and combined.

After that, pour the melted butter and vegetable oil into a separate bowl. Mix very well until the butter is fully mixed.

And then, carefully take the hot skillet out of your oven and fastly pour the batter into the skillet. Place this skillet back into your oven. Bake it for half an hour or until done.
Note:
Once you place your butter into the skillet and your oven, then at that time you should have all your ingredients prepped and ready to be added to your bowl and mixed very well.
In case, if the butter is in the oven for too long time it will burn it so try not to keep the skillet in the oven for longer than just ten minutes.
