Crunchy Taco Cups || Three Recipes of Crunchy Taco Cups with Wonton Wrappers
These Crunchy taco cups are one of the perfect appetizer or fun twist on taco night. Moreover, to make this taco cups the layers of seasoned beef and cheese are commonly baked in layers of wontons in a cupcake pan, and then they finished off with your favorite and best taco toppings. These crunchy taco cups are also considered a huge hit. So whenever you had a desired taco night, in that case, you always had to make two different types of crunchy taco cups with corn tortillas. The outside of the taco cups has a satisfying crisp and crunchy, but the inside of it is the soft and melt.

Ingredients of crunchy taco cups with wonton wrappers:
- Twelve taco cups
- One lb. lean ground beef almost (455 g)
- Three tablespoons taco seasoning and one envelope
- Six oz. of diced tomato (170 g)
- Four oz. of diced green chilies (115 g), 1 can
- One and a half cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese (150 g)
- Six large size flour tortillas
Preparation:
First of all, you have to take a large skillet, and then brown the ground beef and completely drain any remaining fat. After that, just transfer to a bowl. Now you have to add the taco seasoning, tomatoes, and green chiles to the ground beef and stir it continuously to combine. After that, you have to preheat the oven to 375ºF (190ºC). Then cut the flour tortillas into a unique square shape and cut each into four smaller equally sized square pieces. You have to generously coat a standard size muffin tin with the nonstick cooking spray.
Now you have to line each cup of prepared muffin tin with a tortilla sheet fully. And add the 1.5 tablespoons taco mixture in it. Then you can top with one tablespoon of cheese. Now you have to press down and add another layer of tortilla sheet on it, taco mixture, and a final layer of cheese too.
In the end, you have to lightly brush the top edges of the tortilla with cooking oil. Bake it for just 18-20 minutes until the cups are heated through and edges are golden brown. Then serve it to your guest.
2nd INGREDIENTS
- Two teaspoons olive oil
- One pound ground beef I use 90% lean
- Two tablespoons taco seasoning
- Salt according to taste
- Fourteen ounce can petite diced tomatoes drained
- Twenty four wonton wrappers
- 1 1/4 cups of the shredded cheddar cheese
- Half cup sour cream
- 1/4 cup of the sliced green onions
- 1/4 cup of diced fresh tomatoes
- Some quantity of cooking spray
2nd INSTRUCTIONS
Firstly you have to preheat the oven to 400 degrees. And then heat the olive oil in a large size pan over medium-high heat. Then add the beef to the simple pan. You have to use a spatula to break up the meat, stirring it constantly. After that, add the taco seasoning and salt to taste. Then just cook the meat for the four minutes. Stir in the canned tomatoes constantly.
Now you have to coat a 12 cup muffin tin with the cooking spray. Then you have to place one wonton wrapper into the bottom of each muffin cup. Spoon approximately one tablespoon of your meat into each cup and top with approximately two teaspoons of cheese simply. Then place a second wonton layer on the top of the cheese, and then you can add the remaining meat and cheese across all the muffin cups. Bake it for fifteen minutes or until edges are browned and cheese is melted completely. In the end, you can top each taco cup with a small dollop of sour cream and a sprinkle of the green onions and tomato and then serve it simply.

3rd INGREDIENTS
- Cooking spray, just for pan
- Twelve tortillas
- One tbsp. olive oil
- Half onion, fully chopped
- One lb. ground beef
- Two tbsp. Taco Seasoning
- Some quantity of kosher salt and the black pepper
- One c. chopped cherry tomatoes
- Two c. shredded Cheddar
- One c. Shredded lettuce
- Sour cream, for the drizzling
3rd DIRECTIONS
First of all, you have to preheat the oven to 350°. Then grease muffin pan with your cooking spray. After that, Stamp out tortillas with a four biscuit cutter. Now just place a tortilla into each cup of a muffin pan, folding all the edges if it is necessary. Set it aside for few mints.
Then in a large size skillet over medium heat, you have to heat olive oil. Add the chopped onion and cook until softened, about five minutes. Add the ground beef, breaking up the meat with a simple wooden spoon. Season it with taco seasoning, salt, and pepper and cook until your meat is no longer pink about six minutes. Then drain fat. Now you can spoon cooked beef mixture into each tortilla, then the top with shredded cheddar. After that, bake until the tortillas are fully golden around the edges and the cheese has melted about ten minutes. You can garnish with tomatoes, cheese, lettuce, and sour cream.
