Method #1:
Step #1
To prepare these peanut butter chocolates, you have to start by putting the base in a bowl. Firstly crumble your sponge cake with your hands and then add a pinch of the salt. Then add the peanut butter to it.
Step #2
In the second step, you have to mix everything well with a spoon until you get a combined mixture. Form small enough balls with your hands almost 10 grams each which will be the basis of your peanut butter chocolates.
After that, place them on a tray lined with your baking paper and then press them lightly to flatten its base. Let them set in the freezer just long enough to melt the chocolate.
Step #3
Now you have to chop the dark chocolate with a knife and then melt it in a double boiler. With the help of a common fork, you can dip each ball into the chocolate, covering it completely.
Step #4
Drain all the excess chocolate and place your peanut butter chocolates on the common tray lined with the baking paper. Before your chocolate solidifies, you have to place a piece of peanut on the top of each of the chocolate. Once all these peanut butter chocolates have been covered, place them in your refrigerator for at least sixty minutes or until ready to serve.
In the end, you can serve the peanut butter chocolates after a meal or even as a sweet snack throughout the day.
