Banana Curry Recipe || Top 3 Easy to Make Banana Curry Recipes

- One tbsp. olive oil
- One large red onion fully peeled and chopped
- Just one apple, cored and well chopped
- Two tbsp. curry powder
- Two tbsp sultanas
- Two tbsp cashew nuts, toasted
- Three large bananas, peeled and well sliced
- Two tbsp chopped coriander
- Rice to serve it
Method 1;
To make Thai banana curry, firstly you have to heat the oil in a simple pan and sauté the onion for almost 2-3 minutes. After that, add the apple and curry powder simultaneously and cook for just 1-2 minutes, continuous stirring, before adding the sultanas and cashew nuts in it. Then you have to continue to cook for almost 5-6 minutes, to soften the apple. Finally you have to add the banana and cook for a further 3-4 minutes, with continuous stirring. At the end stir in the chopped coriander, season to taste it, and then your banana curry is ready to serve. So, serve it with boiled rice.
Method 2;
Heat the specific quantity of sunflower oil in a large saucepan over moderate heat. Then stir in the onions, and cook until the onions have softened look and turned translucent about 4 to 5 minutes. After that you have to sprinkle in the curry powder, cumin, turmeric, salt, some sugar, ginger, chili powder, cinnamon, and the black pepper. Then you have to cook and stir until fragrant, just for 1 minute.
Then, you have to stir in the curry paste and pressed garlic. Now cook for about one minute. Pour in the delicious tomato sauce and some yogurt, and bring to a simmer. Now you have to stir in the diced banana, and simmer gently for almost three minutes. Mix in chopped tomatoes, and continue to simmer for one minute more. At the end you can stir in the coconut flakes just before serving it.
Ingredients for method 3;
- Three tbsp coconut oil 15 mL
- Two Tbsp chopped onions
- One Tbsp fresh grated ginger
- Two Tbsp red Thai curry paste
- Two Tbsp coconut cream
- Four bananas
- One cup vegetable broth 236 mL
- One cap coconut milk 165 mL
- Two Tbsp soy sauce 30 mL
- Half cup roasted salted cashews 100 g
- Half cup chickpeas 140 g, drained
- Half cup sugar snap peas 40 g
Method 3:
To make raw banana curry recipe for chapathi firstly heat one tbsp oil in a large wok over medium heat, and then add the bananas. You have to cook it until lightly browned color appears, about 3 minutes on each side. Then remove bananas and set it aside. Similarly add 1 tbsp of oil, in a separate pan and heat to medium. After that, add the cashews and chickpeas and cook until a bit brown color appears about 5 minutes. Then remove from the pan and set aside.
Now heat one more tbsp oil in the 3rd wok over medium heat. And add onions, ginger, and curry paste, along with stirring and cooking until nice and fragrant for 3 minutes. Add two Tbsp coconut cream and continue cooking it. Moreover, you have to take a separate bowl, mash 2 of the bananas with a fork in it. To the mashed bananas you can add broth, coconut milk, soy sauce, and chili garlic sauce. Then all these paste add to your wok. Continue the cooking for almost 10 minutes, or until curry is hot and pleasantly fragrant. Then taste it and add more curry paste if required.
At the end you have to serve it, spoon rice into serving bowls, followed by a curry.
