Step #1
In case if you are using store-bought or homemade dough that has been refrigerated for some hours, set it out on a lightly floured surface and then let it rest for almost half an hour before making your pizza. Because when this gluten in the dough will be relaxed as it comes to room temperature then your pizza will be easier to work with.
Step #2
In this step, you have to prepare the toppings and gently pat the red peppers and olives and then dry with paper towels. It’s a common practice that, these ingredients are stored in liquid, drying them will prevent your pizza from turning soggy.
Step #3
After that, you have to heat your oven; you can preheat the oven to 500°F / 260°C. However, if you’re using a pizza stone, then you need to make sure the stone is in the oven as it heats.
Step #4
Here you can prepare pizza dough just by stretching it out on a simple sheet pan or the counter. Firstly, bake it for almost five minutes and then bake the pizza dough for more than five minutes without any type of toppings. This will surely give your crust a head start on getting the best golden brown color and will help it to hold up to the toppings.
Step #5
Finally, remove your pizza from the oven and then brush the entire surface with the best quality olive oil. You can top with onions, spinach, peppers, olives, and cheese according to your interest. Just bake your pizza until crust is fully golden brown and spinach is wilted beautifully, for ten to fourteen minutes. Greek pizza is ready to serve.
