Recipe #1
First of all, you have to take a bowl, and combine the first 12 ingredients in it. Then you just shape into 1-in. balls. After that place meatballs on the greased rack in a separate shallow baking pan. Bake it at 350° for almost 10-15 minutes and drain.
Lastly, just combine the ketchup and cornstarch in a simple roasting pan and Stir in jellies. Now you have to add the meatballs. Cover it and bake for almost 30 minutes.
Recipe #2
You have to begin by combining the egg, cream, and bread cubes in a simple and common bowl. Then mash it with a fork until the bread is mostly dissolved in it.
Next, you have to combine the ground pork, garlic, baking powder, and spices in the separate electric mixer and whip it until the whole mixture is smooth and pale in color.
Furthermore, you have to add the egg mixture and beat until smooth. Later on, add the ground beef and mix it again until it just combined. By using the moistened hands form the meat mixture into balls and place it on the rack over a foil-lined baking sheet.
However, the rack is much useful because any type of fat from the meatballs drips down but if you don’t have one, then you don’t worry about it. It is also fine to just place the meatballs directly on the baking sheet and bake the meatballs for almost twenty minutes.
Meanwhile, you can make the sauce by combining this ketchup, brown sugar, cider vinegar, grated shallot, garlic, Worcestershire sauce, water, salt, and pepper in a sauté pan that is large enough to hold all the meatballs in it.
However, you have to simmer the sauce for almost 10 minutes. In the end, add the baked meatballs to the sauce and stir to coat evenly on it.
You can transfer it to a serving platter, garnish with finely chopped parsley if it is desired, and spear with pretty toothpicks.
Ingredients
- Four dozen of frozen meatballs
- One tablespoon dried minced onion
- Just one cup currant jelly
- One and a half cups barbecue sauce
- Half cup green onion fully sliced or chopped
Recipe #3
Firstly you have to gather all the ingredients. You have to put the frozen meatballs in the simple slow cooker. Later on, in a bowl, you have to combine the minced onion, currant jelly, and barbecue sauce and mix it well.
Furthermore, just whisk to blend thoroughly and pour this sauce mixture into the slow cooker and then mix to coat the meatballs. You will cover and cook on low for 3 to 4 hours or on the high flame for about one and a half to 2 hours.
Meanwhile, serve it hot from the slow cooker after setting on low or transfer to a chafing dish. For the garnish use thinly sliced green onion tops or chopped cilantro, if it desired. Serve Appetizer Meatballs with the simple rice or noodles and a side vegetable.
