Ingredients of Pioneer Woman Pasta Salad:
- Kosher salt, just for taste
- one lb. medium-size pasta shells
- two bell peppers (yellow, red), fully chopped
- one small jicama almost one pound, peeled and diced
- Eight radishes, diced
- One c. mayonnaise
- One c. sour cream
- Half c. buttermilk
- Two tbsp. white wine vinegar
- Half tsp. garlic powder
- A few dashes of the hot sauce
- Half c. chopped fresh chives
- One of the fourth c. chopped fresh dill
Method #1:
Step #1
First of all, you have to bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. After that, add the pasta and then cook according to the package directions.
Then drain and rinse it under the cold water until it is fully cool. Pat very dry and then you have to combine the pasta in a large size bowl with bell peppers, jicama, and radishes.
Step #2
Now you have to take a medium-size bowl, whisk the mayonnaise, sour cream, buttermilk, vinegar, garlic powder, and the hot sauce until it smooth. Stir constantly, dill and season it with Kosher salt.
In the end, pour the dressing over the pasta and then vegetables and then you have to toss well to coat.

- Half c. mayonnaise
- One tbsp. red wine or distilled vinegar
- Three tsp. sugar, more or less to taste
- One of the fourth tsp. salt, or more to taste
- Plenty of the black pepper
- 1/4 c. milk or more if needed
- Splash of the pickle juice, or more to taste
- Three whole roasted red peppers, or more to taste
- Half c. black olives, finely chopped
- Six sweet/spicy pickle slices, fully diced
- Three green onions, sliced
Method #2:
Step #1
Cook the macaroni in softly salted water according to the package directions. You have to drain and rinse under the cold water to cool it. Set it aside for some time.
Step #2
Mix the mayo, vinegar, sugar, salt, and black pepper. You have to splash in enough milk to make it pourable. Splash in your pickle juice for some extra flavor and then taste and adjust seasonings as required. However, set it aside.
Step #3
Place the cooled macaroni in a large size bowl and pour in 3/4 of the dressing in it. Toss and add some more dressing if you’d like.

Stir in the roasted red peppers, olives, pickles, and some green onions. You can add more of any ingredient if you’d like more stuff going on! In the end, splash in a little more pickle juice and stir it constantly.
